Pardon Our Progress

You’re not too far gone. You’re just under construction.

About Me

Hey, I’m Adam York—and I’m a walking miracle.

In 2018, I died three times. I spent a month in a coma on life support. My muscles atrophied. I lost 65 pounds of strength and could barely move, let alone stand. I came back from the brink with nothing but my faith, my family, and a refusal to quit.

Fast forward to today—and I’m rebuilding everything:
My body. My mindset. My mission.

Pardon My Progress is a place for people like me—people who feel like life knocked them flat, and now they’re wondering if it’s too late to get back up. Whether you’ve been in a hospital bed, a mental health pit, or just years of unhealthy habits, this blog is your proof that it’s not over yet.

Here you’ll find:

  • Real talk about rebuilding your health after trauma
  • Tips on strength, recovery, mindset, and nutrition
  • Stories from the trenches—mine and others like me
  • Encouragement that hits you in the gut, not the ear

I’m also an RN, a dad of four, and a guy who still believes in hard work, family, and second chances.

You might see me post about hospital recovery.
You might see me post about getting through a brutal workout.
But it’s all connected—because we’re more than our setbacks.

So if you’re in the middle of your comeback…
If you’ve ever thought, “I don’t know if I can do this,”
Stick around.

You’re not too far gone. You’re just under construction.

Pardon the dust—and welcome to the rebuild.
